On Monday, August 18th, the Richard King Mellon Foundation is moving to a new Grantee and Applicant Experience. This means that if you start an application now, and submit it on or before August 15, your application will not be affected.
The application portal will be shut down August 16 & 17.
If you intend to start an application before August 15 in the current online portal, but are unable to submit that application by August 15, you will need to save a copy of it. Anything not saved will be deleted from the system on August 16, when the current system is shut down.
In-progress applications easily can be saved by clicking “Printer Friendly Version,” and then copying the information to another file or document on your own device. That information then can be pasted into a new application starting on August 18.
The new portal will make the application process much easier. You will now have a single account to manage all funders using Blackbaud Grantmaking in one consolidated portal. If you already use a Blackbaud product, such as Raiser Edge, you won’t need to create a secondary login. You will be required to securely sign in with a new Blackbaud ID, or use an existing Blackbaud ID if you use other Blackbaud products. Please bookmark https://bbgm-apply.yourcausegrants.com/apply/applications to access and return to your applications and requirement forms and add noreply@yourcause.com to your safe senders list. We are encouraging grantees to add all additional applicants that should have access to the application and subsequent forms to enable sharing.
Be advised that your application history will be starting over in the new portal. You may want to download any previous applications and reports prior to August 15th, 2025.
Thank you for working with us to enable this necessary transition.
