New users should set up a username and password.

For Library of Michigan grant programs, please set up a library account with one user name and password for the library. For the Public Library Services grant application, branch locations are eligible, but the application must come from the main or administrative library as of 2022. We recommend a general library email as the user name so emails about grants are available to more than one staff person.

For continuing education stipend requests, please set up an individual account. We recommend using your work email address as the user name.

For State Librarian Excellence Award (SLEA) applicants, if you already have a grant username and password, please use that. Otherwise, please create a new account.

Helpful Hints
  • Add to your safe senders list to ensure you receive all grant related emails.
  • Log in to your account to access in progress, saved and submitted applications under the Applications tab.
  • Log in to your account to access new, in progress, saved and submitted forms and reports under the Requirements tab.
  • Write out your application answers in a document and copy and paste into the application to avoid losing data.
  • Applications that are NOT submitted and DORMANT for more than 4 months are deleted.
  • Preferred browsers for this site are Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari. Chrome is NOT RECOMMENDED.
